hello, dawn!

Animator and illustrator. Born in 1991. Grown in Iowa. Graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. Wears lots of scarves and hats. I grew up in a sleepy, small college town and ended with a graduating class of 31. I was hopelessly attached to animated movies and television. It was exposure to media and people through the internet that fueled my taste and ambition for art. Since I was in middle school, some of my closest friends have been fellow artists.

I’m an animator with a strong emphasis on digitally hand-drawn animation, motion graphics, and character design. I also double as an illustrator and writer. The themes of my work fall somewhere in the range between ‘perpetually bright’ and ‘nauseatingly adorable.’ On rare occasions, I’m actually funny!
